No symbol has been more polarizing through the ages. People have died for it. Wars have been fought over it. And segments of society have been ostracized in the name of it. But perhaps we’ve had it all wrong. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve come from. Regardless of personal persuasion or political preference, the cross does not discriminate and neither does the One who died on it. You see, the cross was never meant to be a symbol of division or condemnation. The cross is in fact the most inclusive symbol in history, because the Cross Equals Love.
